I’m a music-lover. I make music, I listen to it, and almost as much as I love playing music live, I love the experience of seeing artists new and old do what they love most. Being born and raised in NYC, I’ve had the privilege of seeing many, many artists at venues large and small, having a range of experiences to share from each of them. But here, I wanted to share with you a guide to many of the major, must-visit venues. Maybe you’re a high schooler trying to get into that 18+ concert to see your all-time fave, or you’re just curious about what each venue has to offer, I hopefully provide some answers for you!

Note: I’m not one of those audiophiles who can clearly describe to you which venues have better or worse sound and why… This is just my opinion. If you live in NYC and go to NYU or New School, I’m sure you know that guy who can explain it to you. That guy, unfortunately, is not me.

LET’S GO!

TERMINAL 5

Ah, Terminal 5. One of the foundational venues many mainstream artists play before their “too soon” arena tour. Known for its strange location and iconic stage, I’ve been to this venue numerous times. Here’s the deal.
